A) Debate Explorer Program
The Debate Explorer Program aims to introduce aspirants to debate by involving them in the exciting world of competitive debating, but providing the comfort and guidance of lecturers and workshops.

Debaters may be the voice of the KHSDC but The Podium is the Word! The Podium will be source of all the important information at the tournament, keep track of the progress of the tournament, report on little known but important happenings and generally add life and colour!

A) Debate Explorer Program
The Debate Explorer Program aims to introduce aspirants to debate by involving them in the exciting world of competitive debating, but providing the comfort and guidance of lecturers and workshops.
Being part of the Debate Explorer Program means participating students will be able to
- attend the KHSDC workshop on the 2nd and 3rd of February and learn debate with participants of the KHSDC (limited to first 20 respondents)
- watch all debate rounds
- access lectures and Question and Answer sessions held between each round, where they will be briefed about what they saw in the rounds and be able to ask questions about debate
- have lunch and snacks (during the tournament days only)
- take home a KHSDC V Gift Bag, certificate and an amazing experience!
Eligibility
- Students who are eligible to compete in KHSDC can apply for the Debate Explorer Program
- Places are limited to 5 per school (more spaces might be available closer to the tournament, please notify the organizers if you are interested in sending more than 5)
- Accurate and timely application
- Successful registration and payment of 30,000 won each.

- Upon successful registration, you will be required to pay 30,000 won per person

B) Timekeepers and Runners
Be in the thick of the action as a timekeeper and runner for KHSDC V! You will be required to
- keep time for debates (you will be coached)
- be responsible for ballots and other debate documents
- help with some other aspects of tournament organization
Being a runner is a great way to enjoy, experience and learn about a debate tournament without committing too much personal time and resources. In return for being an important part of this event, you will
- receive a certificate noting your valuable contribution
- take home a KHSDC V gift pack
- enjoy a special staff party!
